The LitesGo 100W C1D1 Series is engineered for "extreme risk" zones where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids are present under normal operating conditions. While C1D2 fixtures are built for accidental leaks, our Class I Division 1 fixture is designed with a specialized "Flame-Proof" chassis, making it the essential choice for refineries, offshore rigs, and chemical mixing rooms.

• Flame-Proof Pressure Containment: Unlike standard lighting, a C1D1 housing is designed to contain an internal explosion. If a spark occurs inside the fixture, the heavy-duty cast aluminum body prevents the flame from escaping and igniting the surrounding hazardous atmosphere.
